Brandon Allen – IF

Allen is certainly a Minor League veteran, spending the past 13 seasons with seven different organizations. In over 4,400 Minor League at bats, Allen is a .267 hitter with nearly 200 home runs and 256 doubles. He has the ability to play either first base or a corner outfield position. Allen was signed by the Reds as a Minor League free agent during the 2016 off season from the Mets. In 344 Major League at bats, Allen has hit .203 with 12 home runs and 19 doubles. He first reached the Triple-A level in 2009. Allen was called up for two days by the Reds in April, but was outrighted back to Louisville.
