The Reds made O’Grady their eighth round pick at a first baseman out of Rutgers in 2014. Since the selection, O’Grady has been transitioned into a corner outfielder after the pick. He has also shown some ability to play center, but he does not project there as a 6-foot-2, 215 pound 24-year-old. After spending just after half of the season in High-A in 2015, O’Grady repeated the level in 2016 and struggled offensively. Just when it looked like O’Grady put it all together in 2015, hitting .271 with an .835 OPS, the new level proved to be a challenge.
