Daniel Wright – RHP

Wright was drafted by the Reds in the 10th round in 2013 and was aggressively pushed to Double-A Pensacola by 2015. Wright made a slow adjustment to professional ball with Billings in 2014 with a 5.91 ERA in 14 relief appearances, but has been strong ever since as a starter. Wright has the ability to miss bats, averaging over eight K/9 in his Minor League career. He also possesses pinpoint control with his fastball and slider mix. Neither pitch is overwhelming with velocity, but each just seems to miss bats because he hits spots so well.
