The former Dodgers top prospect DeJesus has become a journeyman in his pro baseball career, but looks to have found a bit of a short-term home in Cincinnati. After playing in 76 games in 2015, DeJesus has been a prominent player off the bench into 2016. However, the limitations are there as well, as DeJesus is just a .225 career hitter at the big league level. He has hit all five of his career home runs as a Red and is a solid defensive shortstop and as a utility player, which makes him a decent bench option, but that is the ceiling. DeJesus is the son of another former big leaguer by the same name, so the blood line is there as well.
