Jermaine Curtis – IF

After a strong start to the 2016 season Curtis won the International League Player of the Month for April, posting a .385 average with a .515 OBP. Curtis was originally a fifth round pick of the Cardinals in 2008 and was acquired by the Reds prior to the 2015 season as a Minor League free agent. In a full 2015 season with Triple-A Louisville, Curtis hit .273 in 227 at bats with a .705 OPS. Curtis plays both the infield and outfield with the ability to act as a super utility player. All of his time with the Reds organization has been as an infielder. The 2016 season is the fifth straight that Curtis has seen at Triple-A, but he did get three at bats with the Cardinals in 2013.
