Since signing with the Reds out of the Dominican Republic at the end of the 2014 season, Reyes has been used as a starter and a reliever. He has a lively fastball that can reach the mid- to upper-90s. While that translated into a 7.7 K/9 in 2015 in the rookie leagues, it was nearly cut in half through the midway point in the 2016 season. The command can be spotty at times and he also struggles to miss bats. However, that has not elevated his WHIP yet in the lower levels.
