Moscot battled injuries early in the 2016 campaign. He was originally a fourth round pick by the Reds in the 2012 draft, who rose up the ranks quickly. In just his second professional season, Moscot reached Double-A by the end of the year. The high strikeout totals that he saw in the lower levels have not translated quite as high to the upper levels, but the occasional command issues have followed. After getting some extended time in Double-A, Moscot saw just 12 starts at Triple-A before earning a promotion to Cincinnati. However, his 2015 season ended after shoulder injury on a tag play. The injury carried over into the 2016 season. Moscot works with a fastball, curve, slider, and change. His fastball sits in the low-90s. While not of his pitches are overwhelming, together they put together a nice package.
