Josh Smith – RHP

Smith was drafted in the 21st round of the 2010 draft by the Reds and made his big league debut in 2015. He reached Double-A by 2013 and Triple-A in 2014, spending a full season at each level. Smith has mainly been a starter with the Reds, making just a handful of relief appearances. He has seen both strong walk and strikeout numbers in his Minor League career. Smith works with a fastball in the low-90s, but commands it extremely well. He also works with a slider, curve, and change. Smith has seen success at every level, despite working with less than electric stuff because he simply hits his spots and misses bats.
