Christiani made his big league debut with the Reds in 2013 out of the bullpen. After being drafted in the 13th round in 2009 out of Vanderbilt by the Reds, Christiani made it to Triple-A in just his second professional season in 2011. However, the upper levels has been a struggle for Christiani since reaching them. He has a career 2.78 ERA in Double-A, which jumps to 4.55 in Triple-A. The BB/9 are up in Triple-A, as the K/9 have dropped. He also allows over two more H/9 in Triple-A. Christiani has shown the ability to get his fastball up in the mid-90s if right, but has been more consistent in the low-90s with it. He also works with a cutter around the same speed.
