The Reds chose Mardirosian in the seventh round of the 2014 draft out of high school. The left-handed hitting Mardirosian got off to a slow start in his first professional season, but rebounded nicely in 2015 in rookie league. He hit .297 with a .779 OPS and has shown fairly low strikeout totals. He has showcased some of his speed, but has really just scratched the surface in that department early in his career. After playing as a middle infielder in his first two pro seasons, Mardirosian moved to primarily an outfielder in 2016 in Low-A.
