National League falls in All-Star Game

Though home field advantage in the World Series will not impact the Reds this season, Adam Duvall and Jay Bruce each saw time as reserves in Tuesday night’s All-Star Game in San Diego.

The pair entered the game in the fifth inning.

While Bruce went 0-for-2 with a pair of strikeouts, Duvall did reach base on a walk.

However, the streak of Reds players not getting a hit in the All-Star Game is up to 25. The last Reds All-Star hit was Scott Rolen in the seventh inning of the 2010 game.
