According to Kourage Kundahl, Nick Travieso has been placed on the seven-day DL in Pensacola.
Travieso left his start on Monday night after awkwardly covering first base on the back end of a double play.
There was no indication what he injured, but it appeared it could be a lower leg injury.
Travieso walked off the field with no assistance with the trainer.
Travieso won the Reds Minor League Pitcher of the Year honors in 2014 after posting a 3.04 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and 114 strikeouts in 142 innings with Low-A Dayton. This earned him an invite to big league camp the following Spring.
Travieso, a 2012 first round pick by the Reds, also had a strong 2015 campaign with High-A Dayton, before making the jump to Double-A for the 2016 season.
Updates will be posted as they are received.
